This could be a matter of honour, ownership or property, demand of restitution or debt, legal disagreement or intention to help a wife or relative or avenge a friend &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Holmgang\">https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Holmgang<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The list shall be demarcated (and not very large).  Two fighters shall enter.  Offences may be uttered.  A challenge will be fought.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And the rules shall be<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>All fights are to the <strong>first <\/strong>good blow<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The scoring shall be\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>2 Points for a blow to the body<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 Point for an arm or leg<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 Point if your opponent steps out of the list &#8211; however that may be<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>0 Points for a head kill<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Each combatant has 3 shields.  These shields can be broken.  When all 3 shields are broken, the combatant has no shield. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The format shall be round robin, 1 bout per opponent.
